LEARN TO LIVE IN THE PRESENT
We believe that every person on this planet deserves to be happy. That’s exactly why Zenify was created. Zenify teaches you how to live more mindfully and consciously through a variety of mindfulness meditation exercises delivered to your smart phone. These assignments teach you how to achieve a heightened state of awareness and enhanced consciousness of the present moment. Here are some of the benefits of mindful living:
• Less stress, depression, pain and anxiety
• Calmness, relaxation and balance
• Better handling of feelings and emotions
• Improved intuition, clarity and understanding
• Control of thoughts and reactions
• Better decision making, attention, memory and learning
IMPROVE YOUR UNDERSTANDING, MAKE BETTER DECISIONS
The root causes of many of the problems in our lives can be traced back to living life on “autopilot mode,” where we become subject to the whims of our emotions and unconscious mental processes and less aware of the here and now. Living more mindfully helps you see things in a clearer, more honest perspective, which helps you better understand what prevents you from being happy and the sources of suffering in your life.
DAILY TRAINING FOR A POSITIVE, PERMANENT CHANGE TO YOUR LIFE
Throughout your day—at intervals which you define—Zenify chimes in with assignments designed to teach you mindfulness meditation techniques. The goal is not to make you reliant on the app; rather, the goal is to equip you with the know-how to live mindfully of all your experiences, all the time.
By taking breaks throughout your day to complete Zenify Assignments, you’ll begin to build and strengthen the neuronal connections between the parts of your brain responsible for consciousness and awareness (prefrontal cortex) and those where feelings, emotions, thoughts, senses and ego reside. Over time, through consistent practice, you’ll develop greater control over all these parts.
THE SCIENCE BEHIND MINDFULNESS MEDITATION TRAINING
In an eight-week, laboratory-controlled experiment, Zenify-style mindfulness training was shown to increase gray matter concentration within the left hippocampus, temporo-parietal junction and the posterior cingulated cortex. These areas of the brain are involved in learning, memory, emotion regulation, self-referential processing and perspective-taking.
